Amir Khan's SATYAMEVAJATHE

Hi Flocks,      Recently i was seeing the program in TV, i was really impressed with the topics that amir khan is exposing. Out of which i liked the most is the about the doctors doing the unncessary diagnostics and fetching the money from the people. I think it is 100% correct. Since this is not the first time there are the complaints about the faulty doctors.      Many time in the news we have seen that doctors are working only for the money. Today this generation is thinking only about the money and the luxury & doctors are thinking that they are the king and no one is above them. So this has created to behave them like that.      I think Amir khan should not apolize to the doctors, but the doctors are to be ashamed that there are also people in them who are bringing the bad name to them.      We have to change the way we think, if some one critizises we should not think in the bad way...

Climatic Conditions

From past few days the tempratures are soaring making the people more difficult to move in the afternoons. The hot winds are starting from 9.00 AM making the peak at 12 Noon continuing up to the 4.00 PM. This is peaking day by day. Few years back say about 6years the climate was not of this type. There used not be to so hot and extreme wheather conditions. I think the basic reason for this being the rapid industrialization from Yr 2000. I have the industies growing and people are moving more to the urban areas. There is a large vanish of green cover from the earth. I really dont know the theory of dec 21st 2012 about the earth coming to end. But after seeing these changes it makes me belive that yes what our anchestors taught was correct. I see in near days there will be the food & water shortage. There is no surprise if people start killing for food. I see this will happen. If you dont want to happen then this moment is the correct time to see the change. Please start n...

Ways of being happier

As the cold Pacific storms crossed the skies above my Northern California home, I found myself deep in a rot. This condition caught me off guard because I had no particular reason to feel this way. I’m usually a pretty happy guy. As a result, I began questioning the whole origin of happiness, down to what makes us happy? This quest of mine wasn’t going very well. Ah, sitting around trying to figure out the timeless questions! As a matter a fact, it was making me feel even worse. What if I’ll never be able to figure it out, I wondered. Clearly I just needed more time to contemplate. At that very moment, my thoughts were interrupted by a doorbell. My next door neighbor stopped by to ask me for a hand in his yard. I reluctantly agreed. After all, what could be more important than pondering life’s greatest mysteries? Lazily, I assisted him with his work in hope of quickly returning back to my thoughts. However the work gradually drew me in, and I found myself actually starting to e...

What we eat is it right????

If we have to live our lives we need to have a basic thing that is food. When we see the last 15 years in India, do you see any change in the foods that we consume? The answer may be yes. The reason when we make the survey of the land green cover it has drastically degreased. Urbanization has happened a lot. People from the villages are getting migrated to cities making the shortage of farmers for the land cultivation which is leading to the food scarcity and also it has the indirect proportion to the rainfall scarcity. Due this concern there is a lot of bio-diversity changes that has happened which also lead to the some of the species extinction. Birds have no trees to nest. And also the population expansion has let the sharp increase in everything (Food, Shelter, pollution etc.). If we compare the olden style of cultivation to the new method of cultivation that is happening there is a lot of changes that has happened. I can say with my confidence that this is only du...

50 pc of world's pneumonia deaths in India

India contributes to more than 50 per cent of the world's pneumonia deaths. Pneumonia is fast emerging as the next big challenge after polio for the country. During the World Immunisation Week, the question is whether pneumonia vaccines should be introduced in India's national immunisation programme. Pneumonia is a big challenge as 3,70,000 Indian children die due to the disease annually and 60,00,000 children are affected by it every year, leading to debilitating and life long diseases, according to the Johns Hopkins University. The WHO says that India accounts for 50 per cent of the world's total pneumonia deaths. so is Pnenomia the next big vaccination that India should embark on. Chairman of ICMR's Pneumonia Task Force Professor NK Ganguly said, "The good thing about vaccines is that you can carry them to 80 to 90 per cent of the children because we have an immunization system and these vaccines prevent the disease rather than curing it. So why not eliminate...

Drugs banned in developed world sold in India: Parliamentary Panel

Image
New Delhi: Pointing to a collusive nexus between drug manufacturers, officials of Drugs Control Organisation and medical experts in granting approvals to new drugs, a Parliamentary Panel said drugs banned, discarded or withdrawn in developed countries are in circulation in India. The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare also pointed to serious lapses and irregularities on the approvals of new drugs and pointed out that 33 such drugs were approved without conducting clinical trials on Indian patients. Alarmed at concerns of safety of Indian patients using such new drugs approved by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), the top body handling approval of drugs, the Committee held "this matter needs to be reviewed to ensure safety of patients, fair play, transparency and accountability." A Parliament panel also pointed to a nexus between the drug industry and medical experts. The Committee said scrutiny of 42 drugs picked up ...

My Mind thoughts

Writing a blog is not a easy task. Since it involves a lot of thinking to make sure everty thing we write is correct. I think lot of ideas and i feel writing but coming to the paper is nill. I forget every thing. Recently i started to forget things easily. It is something like memory loss, not like as shown in movies. More ofen i tend to forget quickly.  I used to think sometimes “Am I becoming weak / loosing energy”.             Last week I was on tour with friends. We had a small talk about the problem I faced these days. After an hour everyone started to accept the same situation all are facing.             Then we started to why? This was supposed to happen in the older age. We have started to remember our school days where we used to remember everything and anything. Then thinking we had a few questions        ...

Why do Good People Suffer?

“Why do good people suffer or why do bad things happen to good people?” This question seems to be very common these days. It seems as though good people get the brunt of all suffering, while evil-doers enjoy life. But if we observe closely, we see that everyone undergoes suffering in some form. Keeping this in mind, our question becomes meaningless. Just because a person is good does not mean there would be no suffering in his/her life. But what do we mean by ‘good’? In Sanskrit, ‘sadhu’ is the word used for a good person. Sadhu comes from the word ‘saadh’, meaning ‘to accomplish’. If we work for ourselves and achieve great things, there is nothing laudable about it, but if we help others to achieve their goals, then it is an accomplishment. If someone is good to you and you reciprocate, that is common courtesy. But if someone is harming you, and despite that you continue to wish that person well without expecting anything in return, it is real goodness. A sadhu bathing in the river...

What exactly is the mind?

If you look carefully, you will find that when you say mind, you cannot conceive of mind without thought.  When you say mind, it means that however high or low the mind is functioning on this earth, there is thought.  When the mind is functioning in the higher spheres it may be subtle thought, but it is thought all the same.  So we can, in a way, say that the mind is a complete bundle or collection of thoughts.  All thoughts together form the mind. There is no separate entity called mind that is thinking - thinking itself is mind.  When there are thoughts, automatically there is the mind. Therefore, from this we can imply that where there is no thought, there is no mind, in the ordinary sense of the term. The other thing is, think carefully and see – Can you think without a language? Try. Whenever you think, there is language, whatever the language may be.  Now, the rishis and the yogis who have gone into this subject in practice, have said that ther...

Why and How we reached so high on corruption ! Any way out !

Rims of papers and litres of ink have been used in the newspapers to write about corruption and the  measures or legislatures required to control the same after current euphoria on the subject aired by Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdeo.   I have often wondered about two things. One, reasons for the monumental scale to which corruption has reached in our country. Two, whether the people who indulge in corrupt practices are not aware that if caught there is no escape route, given the plethora of existing rule, regulations and code of conducts.     As regards the scale and deep reach of corruption , post free India , for the Indian middle class, hitherto repressed, as it got the first vent of freedom, its desire to amass wealth soared , given its past life of misery & deprivation coupled with common human frailty the greed. Although fresh from freedom movement, the first generation of free India ruled high on morale values and uprightness, the immediate n...
