Small School children bag weight

On 3/2/2006 in Bangalore I have seen the small kid carrying a huge bag
to the school. I think the age of the kid is around 8 years. But it
carries a huge amount of the luggage, books on its back. When I went
and asked the mother of the kid. She said the school is very strict
that they have to carry the Class work, Homework and textbook for each
subject. They have 8 subjects. And also the kid carries the lunch box
and water bottle, which adds another half Kg in the bag. That is what
the younger generation is suffering from. Our kids will also face the
same crisis if this type of the small things cannot be resolved at
this stage it will be a very problem in future.

And also I have seen the parents sitting in a queue for a whole night
to get the application form to join their kids to just 1st class. What
matters the reputation of the school? Some schools even interview
their parents to join their children. Some even put the rules that
parents must be studied, should have the income more than 5 lakhs
P.A., area of living to be in the costly areas of the city. Is it
possible for every parent?

The reputation of the school comes from the student's behavior and
their studies. But the schools say that because their kids have joined
in the institution they are scoring the marks.

Is it possible to make the slowest learner to make the state 1st rank
when he is not at all interested in studies? Even in Andhra Pradesh I
have seen the residential type, which makes the student to read by
beating them. The institution lays fines when they fail in the unit
test. As I think most of you are aware of putting fine for unit test
as it happens in most of the engineering colleges across chennai.

Even from the 1st class to the end of the graduation there is a
torture from every place Primary, Secondary, Higher secondary,
Graduation education.

But even the schools timings have been extended from 8.00 to 16.30
hours. Is it necessary to have the 1st class student to have the so
much of the study? This causes the mental strain. So now a days the
person doesn't know even the basics of life. Since they are made to
study from books. They know what is there in books. He doesn't know
the outer world.
Thinking back to my education was not so bad as today. We were given
freedom in every stage of education. We enjoyed a lot.

At this stage there is no immediate solutions sticking to my mind. So
readers please send me the feed back on this article. And also I
request you to suggest some suggestions to this problem.

Climatic Conditions

From past few days the tempratures are soaring making the people more difficult to move in the afternoons. The hot winds are starting from 9.00 AM making the peak at 12 Noon continuing up to the 4.00 PM. This is peaking day by day. Few years back say about 6years the climate was not of this type. There used not be to so hot and extreme wheather conditions. I think the basic reason for this being the rapid industrialization from Yr 2000. I have the industies growing and people are moving more to the urban areas. There is a large vanish of green cover from the earth. I really dont know the theory of dec 21st 2012 about the earth coming to end. But after seeing these changes it makes me belive that yes what our anchestors taught was correct. One day i was going about the topic called as Marriage being outdated vs the new concept of live in relationships, which prompted me to write about this topic.
